Interstate 64 Traffic Advisory

October 19, 2005 - The District 5 Department of Highways office in Louisville announces  temporary  lane closures in both directions of Interstate 64 in Louisville Metro, Saturday, October 22, 2005.  These temporary lane closures between mile point 18 and 19.5, the I-265 / Gene Snyder Freeway interchange, will occur between 7:30 a.m.  and 4:00 p.m. and allow for paving.  

Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed.  Stay alert and minimize distractions, and keep a safe distance between your vehicle, the car ahead, and the workers and their equipment.  This is a reminder we must all help reduce the number of highway work zone accidents and fatalities.  Slow Down to Get There!
