US60 Franklin Co. Traffic Advisory

Louisville, KY (January 20, 2006) -  District 5 of the Department of Highways announces a temporary lane closure on eastbound US60 in Franklin County Friday, January 20, 2006.  Lane closures and delays are possible in Frankfort on eastbound US60 between KY 1784 and Rolling Acres Drive (mile point 9 - 10) from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. due to drainage work.  The actual starting date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. 

Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed.  Stay alert and minimize distractions, and keep a safe distance between your vehicle, the car ahead, and the workers and their equipment.  This is a reminder we must all help reduce the number of highway work zone accidents and fatalities.  Slow Down to Get There!
