Louisville, KY (December 8, 2005)- Kentucky Department of Highways District 5 maintenance are clearing a path through snow and ice as precipitation continues to fall. Conditions vary across the district and even within each county as described below.

  District 5 includes Bullitt, Franklin, Henry, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer and Trimble Counties. Current conditions for each county are as follows:

The maintenance crews will continue to treat the roadways and monitor conditions throughout the evening and over night hours. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet urges motorists to buckle up and drive cautiously. Please remember to safely share the road with snow removal and emergency vehicles.
