Temporary lane closures on Interstate 64 in Jefferson County

Louisville, KY (June 28, 2011) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 5 Office announces temporary lane closures on Interstate 64 at the Ninth Street interchange (mile point 3.8) in Jefferson County to allow for bridge inspection.  The following closures are scheduled for Wednesday, June 29th from 7:30 p.m. until midnight:

• Left and center lanes of westbound I-64
• Left lane of eastbound I-64
• Entrance ramp from Ninth Street to westbound I-64 reduced to one lane

Inspection will continue on Thursday, June 30th with the following closures scheduled from 7:30 p.m. until midnight:

• Right and center lanes on I-64 in both directions
• Entrance ramp from Ninth Street to westbound I-64 reduced to one lane
