Temporary closure of KY 12 (Bagdad Road) in Shelby County

The Department of Highways District 5 Office announces the temporary closure of KY 12 (Bagdad Road) in Shelby County due to RJ Corman railroad crossing repairs.  KY 12 will be closed to thru traffic at the railroad crossing between Stapelton Road and Trammel Road (mile point 1.2). 

This roadway is scheduled for closure from 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1st until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 2nd.  Motorists should follow the signed detour via KY 43 (Cropper Road), Christianburg Road and Frys-Oldburg Road.
