Temporary lane closures on eastbound and westbound Interstate 64 in Franklin and Woodford Counties

Louisville, KY (October 26, 2006) - The Department of Highways District 5 office announces the temporary lane closures on both eastbound and westbound Interstate 64 between mile points 53 and 67.  Work began earlier this week on westbound I-64 and now includes eastbound I-64.  These lane closures are scheduled from 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. the following morning Sunday – Thursday and from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 a.m. the following morning Friday – Saturday.  The lane closures will continue for the next month and will allow for the painting of the bridges on I-64.
