Temporary lane closures on eastbound I-64 in Louisville

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Louisville, KY (October 2, 2006) - The Department of Highways District 5 Office announces temporary lane closures on eastbound Interstate 64 between Interstate 65 at Mellwood Avenue (mile points 6.6 to 6.9).    The left lane on eastbound I-64 will be closed.  The shoulder of the entrance ramp from Mellwood Avenue to eastbound I-64 will be closed.  The lane closures will allow for painting of the bridges on Interstate 64.

These lane closures are scheduled as follows:

• 9:00 p.m. on Monday, October 2, 2006 until 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 3, 2006
• 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3, 2006 until 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2006
