Northbound Interstate 65 closed between I-264 and I-64 in Louisville, KY

Louisville, KY – (September 28, 2006) – The Department of Highways District 5 Office reminds motorists about the closure of northbound Interstate 65 between the Watterson Expressway (I-264) and I-64 in downtown Louisville.  This portion of the interstate will be closed from 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2006 until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, October 2, 2006 to allow for pavement rehabilitation.  All entrance and exit ramps for northbound I-65 within this work zone will be closed.

During this closure of northbound I-65, motorists should follow the signed detour via westbound I-264 and eastbound I-64 reconnecting with northbound I-65 at the John F. Kennedy Bridge.
