Temporary lane closures on eastbound I-64 in Jefferson County

Louisville, KY (September 27, 2006) - The Department of Highways District 5 Office announces temporary lane closures on eastbound Interstate 64 between Interstate 65 at Mellwood Avenue(mile points 6.5 to 6.8).    The right lane on eastbound I-64 will be closed.  The shoulder of the entrance ramp from Mellwood Avenue to eastbound I-64 will be closed.  The lane closures will allow for painting of the bridges on Interstate 64.

These lane closures are schedule as follows:

• 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2006 until 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2006
• 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2006 until 6:00 a.m. on Friday, September 29, 2006
• 9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2006 until 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2006
