09-09-05 Weekend Interstate Traffic Advisory
September 9, 2005 - The District 5 Department of Highways office in Louisville announces temporary lane closures in Jefferson and Shelby Counties, Friday, September 9, 2005. These lane closures will occur between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and allow for guardrail repair.

I-64 westbound, 28.4 mile point after Bullskin Creek bridge, Right Lane Closure, Shelby County

I-64 westbound, bridge at 19.6 mp, Right Lane Closure, Jefferson County

I-265 southbound, Freedom Way bridge at 10.8 mp, Left Lane Closure, Jefferson County

US 31W northbound, at Shepherdsville Rd/KY 44, 1.9 mile point. Right Lane Closure, Jefferson County

I-265 northbound, Pennsylvania Run culvert after Smyrna Road, 14.0 mp, Right Lane Closure, Jefferson County
In addition, temporary interstate lane closures will occur in Metro Louisville, Sunday, September 11, 2004. These lane closures will occur between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and allow for guardrail repair.

I-71 southbound, between the Ohio St. and Beargrass Creek bridges, 0.1 mile point, left lane
The actual starting date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed. Stay alert and minimize distractions, and keep a safe distance between your vehicle, the car ahead, and the construction workers and their equipment.
