Guardrail repairs on Interstate 265
Louisville, KY (August 15, 2006) - The Kentucky Department of Highways announces the temporary lane closures at the following locations in Jefferson County for Tuesday, August 15, 2006. These closures will occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for guardrail repair:

Southbound Interstate 265, milepoint 27.8 right lane

Southbound Interstate 265, milepoint 27.1 right lane

Northbound Interstate 265, milepoint 12.7 left lane
The actual starting date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed. Stay alert and minimize distractions, and keep a safe distance between your vehicle, the car ahead, and the workers and their equipment. This is a reminder we must all help reduce the number of highway work zone accidents and fatalities.
