Closure on US 421 in Henry County extended until August 21, 2006

Louisville, KY (August 10, 2006) - The Kentucky Department of Highways announces the temporary closure of US 421 in Henry County between KY 241 and the intersection of KY 22 and KY 3222.  This road will be closed to through traffic until August 21, 2006 to allow for replacement of the bridge over the Branch of Drennon Creek.  This bridge is located 1.7 miles southeast of the intersection of KY 22.  Local access will be allowed during the construction project.  Motorists should follow the signed detour via KY 241, KY 1359 and KY 22.
