Guardrail repairs in Franklin County
Louisville, KY (August 1, 2006) - The Kentucky Department of Highways announces the temporary lane closures at the following locations in Franklin County for Tuesday, August 1, 2006. These closures will occur between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and allow for guardrail repair:
Eastbound Interstate 64, milepoint 48.5, right lane
Westbound Interstate 64, milepoint 54.6, right and left lanes
Westbound Interstate 64, milepoint 53, left lane
Southbound US 127, milepoint 4.3, right lane
The actual starting date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed. Stay alert and minimize distractions, and keep a safe distance between your vehicle, the car ahead, and the workers and their equipment. This is a reminder we must all help reduce the number of highway work zone accidents and fatalities.
