Temporary lane closure on I-64 in Shelby County
Louisville, KY (August 1, 2006) - The Kentucky Department of Highways announces the temporary lane closure of the right lane on eastbound Interstate 64 at mile marker 45 in Shelby County. This closure is scheduled for Tuesday, August 1, 2006 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will allow for bridge decking repair.
The actual starting date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed. Stay alert and minimize distractions, and keep a safe distance between your vehicle, the car ahead, and the workers and their equipment. This is a reminder we must all help reduce the number of highway work zone accidents and fatalities.
