Louisville, KY (April 5, 2006) - The District 5 Department of Highways office in Louisville announces a temporary lane closures on eastbound Interstate 64 between milepoints 2.5 (22nd Street & North Western Parkway) and 3.8 (9th Street), in the Louisville Metro on Wednesday, April 5, 2006. The right lanes will be closed between 7:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. and allow for bridge deck repair.

Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed. Stay alert and minimize distractions, and keep a safe distance between your vehicle, the car ahead, and the workers and their equipment. This is a reminder we must all help reduce the number of highway work zone accidents and fatalities. Slow Down to Get There! Buckle Up and DRIVE SMART!
