Temporary lane closures on I-64

Louisville, KY (March 14, 2006) - The Kentucky Department of Highways announces that Interstate 64 will be reduced to one lane in each direction between I-265 and Mellwood Avenue (mile point 18.8 and 6.4).  A moving operation to perform pothole patching will occur in the westbound lanes of westbound I-64 from the Gene Snyder Freeway to the Mellwood Avenue exit.  Once the westbound side is completed, the crew will move to the eastbound lanes and proceed back to the Gene Snyder Freeway. 

These lane closures are scheduled for Tuesday, March 14, 2006 from 6:30 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. (midnight) and will allow for pothole patching.
