Lane Closures for I-65 in Bullitt County

Louisville, KY (February 14, 2006) - The Kentucky Department of Highways announces the temporary closure of the left lane on both northbound and southbound I-65 in Bullitt County between KY 61 and Reids Ranch Road Overpass (MP 104.7 – 110.4). These lane closures are scheduled for Thursday, February 16, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and will allow for core drilling. The actual starting date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.

Motorists are urged to be cautious and reduce speed.  Stay alert and minimize distractions, and keep a safe distance between your vehicle, the car ahead, and the workers and their equipment.  This is a reminder we must all help reduce the number of highway work zone accidents and fatalities.  Slow Down to Get There!
