MANCHESTER, KY. ---(July 16, 2007)— The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announces US 25 in Laurel County will be reduced to one-lane beginning Tuesday, July 17, 2007, for resurfacing.
Traffic will be reduced to 1-lane, north and south directions, on US 25, north main street at Rueben Road (near Earth Grains) extending north to the Jct. of Hal Rogers Parkway.
Lane closures in each direction are anticipated to be in effect from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM each night, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, July 17-19.
Milling operations are scheduled for Tuesday night and paving operations Wednesday and Thursday night.
Motorists are advised to reduce speed and be alert to slowed/stopped traffic in this area. Delays are to be expected during peak travel times.
The actual starting date and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
Motorists should use alternate routes, if possible, during this construction.
