MANCHESTER, KY. ---(September 15, 2006)— The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s pavement rehabilitation project on I-75 in Laurel County continues for the week of September 17 thru September 22,  between Mileposts 29 and 34.
 The North and Southbound lanes will have lane closures beginning Sunday, September 17.  Lane closures will be in effect as follows:

 8:00 PM Sunday, Sept. 17 to 9:00 AM Thursday, Sept. 21 (24 hours a day)
 7:00 PM Thursday, Sept. 21 to 7:00 AM Friday, Sept. 22.
 Contractor will halt all operations by 7:00 AM each Friday.

NOTE:  The lane width on the SB I-75 Bridge ONLY, will be restricted to approximately 11.5 feet, for bridge work.  Wide loads must seek an alternate route.  Bridge work is expected to be complete on I-75 SB in 2-3 months.

This area is a Double Fine Zone with a reduced speed limit of 55 MPH within the work zone.  The actual starting date and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.

A signed detour is in place from Exit 41(London) to Corbin and from Exit 29(Corbin) to London.   This project is expected to remain active through 2006.
