MANCHESTER, KY. ---(July 24, 2007)— Construction is scheduled to begin on the Hal Rogers Parkway in Laurel County at MP 5.4 (1.5 miles east of KY 192) for installation of a commercial entrance.

Work is scheduled to begin this week, weather permitting. The contractor will be installing a center left turn, acceleration and right turn lane. Anticipated hours of operation are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day.

Traffic will be periodically reduced to 1-lane and motorists are advised to be alert to slowed/stopped traffic in this area.

Construction is expected to take 2-3 weeks to complete.
