 MANCHESTER, KY. ---(December 1, 2006)— The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s pavement rehabilitation project on I-75 in Laurel County continues for the week of  December 3 thru December 7,  between Mileposts 29 and 34.
 The North and Southbound lanes will have closures beginning Sunday, December 3.  Lane closures will be in effect as follows:

 11:00 PM Sunday, Dec. 3 to 9:00 AM Thursday, Dec. 7 (24 hours a day)

NOTE:  The lane width will be restricted to approximately 11 feet on I-75 SB and NB, for bridge work.  Wide loads must seek an alternate route.  Bridge work is expected to be complete on I-75 SB and NB in 1 month.

This area is a Double Fine Zone with a reduced speed limit of 55 MPH within the work zone.  The actual starting date and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.

A signed detour is in place from Exit 41(London) to Corbin and from Exit 29(Corbin) to London.   This project is expected to remain active through 2006.
