MANCHESTER, KY. ---(January 5, 2007)— The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s pavement rehabilitation project on I-75 in Laurel County resumes the week of Jan. 8 through Jan. 11, between Mileposts 29 and 34. The Northbound lanes will have closures beginning Monday, January 8. Lane closures will be in effect as follows, Northbound ONLY:
4:30 AM Monday, Jan. 8 to 9:00 AM Thursday, Jan. 11 (24 hours a day)
NOTE: The lane width will be restricted to approximately 11 feet on I-75 NB, for bridge work. Wide loads must seek an alternate route. Bridge work, Northbound, is expected to be complete in approximately 1 month.
This area is a Double Fine Zone with a reduced speed limit of 55 MPH within the work zone. The actual starting date and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
A signed detour is in place from Exit 41(London) to Corbin and from Exit 29(Corbin) to London.
