MANCHESTER, KY. ---(January 12, 2007)— The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s pavement rehabilitation project on I-75 in Laurel County continues the week of Jan. 15 through Jan. 18, between Mileposts 29 and 34. North and Southbound lanes will have closures beginning Monday, January 15. Lane closures will be in effect as follow:
5:00 AM Monday, Jan. 15 to 9:00 AM Thursday, Jan. 18 (24 hours a day)
NOTE: The lane width will be restricted to approximately 11 feet on I-75 NB, for bridge work. Wide loads must seek an alternate route. Bridge work, Northbound Only, is expected to be complete in approximately 1 month.
This area is a Double Fine Zone with a reduced speed limit of 55 MPH within the work zone. The actual starting date and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
A signed detour is in place from Exit 41(London) to Corbin and from Exit 29(Corbin) to London.
