MANCHESTER, KY. ---(August 18, 2006)— The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s pavement rehabilitation project on I-75 in Laurel County continues for the week of August 21 thru August 25., between Mileposts 29 and 34.

 The North and Southbound lanes will have lane closures beginning Sunday, August 20.  Lane closures will be in effect as follows:

 8:00 PM Sunday, Aug. 20 to 9:00 AM Thursday, Aug. 24 (24 Hrs a day)
 7:00 PM Thursday, Aug. 24 to 7:00 AM Friday, Aug. 25
 Contractor will halt all operations by 7:00 AM each Friday. 
 
 This area is a Double Fine Zone with a reduced speed limit of 55 MPH within the work zone. 

A signed detour is in place from Exit 41(London) to Corbin and from Exit 29(Corbin) to London.   This project is expected to remain active through 2006. 

The actual starting date and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
