Department of Highways Maintenance Schedule for Bell County

Department of Highways personnel plan to conduct the following maintenance activities in Bell County for the week of Sept. 12-16:

Monday 9-12

• KY 190             Mowing

Tuesday 9-13
• KY 3085            Cutting R/W
• US 25E              Ditching
• KY 1595            Mowing

Wednesday 9-14
• US 119              Cutting R/W
• KY 3485            Mowing
• US 25E              Ditching

Thursday 9-15
• KY 190              Mowing
• US 25E              Ditching

Friday 9-16
• KY 2011            Replace Cross Drain
• KY 3486            Cutting R/W

Each day, a crew will be working with contractor on KY 74, repairing break.

Maintenance activities are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change dependent on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.

Motorists are urged to use caution in work areas, and to be alert for flaggers, workers, equipment which may block a portion of the roadway, and other items of concern in work zones. They should pay attention to warning signs alerting them of the roadwork and obey work zone speed limits where applicable.

The Kentucky Department of Highways maintains 228 miles of highway in Bell County.
