REVISED MEDIA ADVISORY

MANCHESTER, KY. ---(January 11, 2008)— The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to set off blasts, for removal of a cliff, on US 25E at the Jct. of KY 1304 and US 25E beginning today, Wed., Jan. 9.   Blasts are scheduled to be set for 4:00 PM each day Wednesday through Friday, Jan. 9 – 11.

Motorists can expect delays as traffic will be stopped during the blasting and for removal of debris from the roadway.
An additional blast is scheduled to be set on Saturday, January 12, 2008, between the hours of 12:00 Noon and 5:00 PM.
The actual starting date and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
