JACKSON, KY. – (Jan. 30, 2006) -- In order to allow crews to stretch cables across the highway, lane closures will be in effect on the Bert T. Combs Mountain Parkway in Powell County on Tuesday, Jan. 31. The lane closures will take place at milepoint 19.9. This is between the Stanton and Clay City exits.

One lane will be closed at a time in each direction, and each lane closure will last approximately three hours.

Motorists are advised to use caution in this area and be observant to warning signage indicating the lane closures.
