Governor Fletcher and Transportation Cabinet announce $13,000 in County Road Aid emergency funding to Wolfe County Fiscal Court
FRANKFORT, KY –(July 26, 2005)—Governor Ernie Fletcher and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet today announced emergency road funding for the Wolfe County Fiscal Court The county has been authorized to receive $13,000 for slip repairs on Baptist Fork Road.
"This project is just one example of the cabinet’s commitment to recognizing a problem and taking action for a solution," said acting Secretary Bill Nighbert. "These emergency funds are being used to improve safety and mobility in Wolfe County."
County Road Aid emergency funds will be used for this project. The county is responsible for all phases of the work to correct the slip, which is located 0.1 miles south of KY 2491. A check will be issued directly to the county for payment for the repairs.
