Transportation Cabinet authorizes repair funds for KY 3089 in Morgan County
JACKSON, KY - (Nov. 22, 2005) -- The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is taking action to repair a break in pavement on a state-maintained Morgan County roadway. An emergency appropriation of $35,998 has been authorized for slip repair work on KY 3089, Caskey Fork Road.
"When emergency situations require repairs, it is our goal to make those repairs as quickly as possible," said Bill Nighbert, acting Transportation Cabinet secretary. "This project should make travel safer for those who use this road each day to get to work or school."
Repairs will be made to Caskey Fork Road at a slip located 0.62 miles north of the Wolfe County line.
The project will be completed by Transportation Cabinet workers and the cost will be paid from the Rural Secondary Emergency Fund.
