Welcome Signs Display “Unbridled Spirit” In Kentucky; New Signs To Be Installed At West Liberty Airport And At Airports All Across The Commonwealth
JACKSON, KY – (Dec. 1, 2005) - New signs are to be installed at West Liberty Airport in Morgan County and are already in place at airports across Kentucky. The new signs, which feature the "Unbridled Spirit" logo, "have a very nice, upbeat appearance," said Commissioner of Aviation Paul Steely. "They send the right message to all tourists and all companies looking to do business in Kentucky."
Officials with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s Department of Aviation distributed the signs to a number of airport representatives from across the state at the conclusion of the Kentucky Aviation Conference in Frankfort, Sept. 21-23.
"These new signs are a striking symbol of Kentucky’s vision for economic growth and overall quality of life everywhere in the Commonwealth," said Acting Transportation Cabinet Secretary Bill Nighbert. "Aviation plays a crucial role in that vision and the governor is committed to utilizing our aviation resources to recruit and maintain quality businesses."
