JACKSON, KY – Residents of Owsley and nearby counties are invited to attend a public informational meeting to discuss a project to build a new section of KY 30 in Owsley County.

The meeting will be held Thursday, Nov. 4 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Owsley County High School, Booneville.

Representatives from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and project consultants will be available to answer questions and provide information about the project. Design plans will be available for public review.

This proposed project is the construction of a new 6.2-mile section of KY 30 between KY 847 at Travellers Rest and KY 11 at Levi.
