Traffic pattern change in effect on KY 7 in Perry County

JACKSON, KY – Beginning today, a new traffic pattern is in place on KY 7 near Viper in Perry County.

Due to the ongoing construction project in the area, traffic has been shifted from the old alignment of KY 7 to a new alignment running parallel to the old road.

Drivers should use caution in this area, especially at the intersection of KY 7 and KY 1165, as travelers adjust to the new alignment.

Motorists are asked to “Drive Smart” in this and all other work zones and be aware of workers, traffic control devices and construction equipment when traveling in this and other areas where projects are ongoing.
