JACKSON, Ky. – Beginning today, bridge repairs on KY 7 in Magoffin County will restrict that route to one lane with a width of 10.5 feet at milepoint 5.7.

This restriction is expected to last for at least two weeks due to a bridge deck overlay project. Traffic will be restricted to one lane across the bridge and will be regulated with temporary signals.

Loads wider than 10.5 feet must detour via KY 80, US 23 and KY 114 through Floyd County to Prestonsburg and back to Salyersville. Other traffic should expect delays in this area during the duration of the project.

Inclement weather during the project period may increase the duration of the width restrictions.
