ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE: KY 191 in Morgan County to be closed on Thursday, July 24

JACKSON, KY – Personnel from the Kentucky Department of Highways, Morgan County Maintenance, will replace a drainage pipe on KY 191 on Thursday, July 24. The work will take place near mile marker 7, near Caney. The project will begin around 9 a.m. and will continue until approximately 5 p.m. During this time, the road will be closed to through traffic.

During the closure, a marked detour will be posted, using KY 1000 and KY 1162. Motorists should plan their trips accordingly.

In case of inclement weather, the closure will be rescheduled for Friday, July 25.
