TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Delays Likely on KY 2469 in Breathitt County This Week

JACKSON, KY. – (Nov. 27, 2007) – Motorists using KY 2469 (Athol-Guerrant-Shoulderblade Road) in Breathitt County will experience long delays through Friday, Nov. 30, as workers drive steel to repair an embankment failure.

The work will take place at milepoint 9.0, which is between Puncheon Creek Road and KY 30.

Motorists are urged to use extreme caution in this area while the work is ongoing. They are asked to “Drive Smart” in this work zone and be aware of flaggers, workers, construction equipment and lane closures when traveling in this area.
