Department of Highways District 10 office to host public forum on Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goals

JACKSON, KY – (Sept. 20, 2007) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) will host an information meeting outlining the details of the KYTC’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goals for the federal fiscal year. The meeting will be held on Thursday, Sept. 27, at the KYTC Department of Highways District 10 office in Jackson.

KYTC has established an overall percentage goal of 7 percent for participation by DBEs in federally-assisted projects funded by the Federal Highway Administration for the federal fiscal year beginning Oct. 1 and ending Sept. 30, 2008.

The District 10 meeting will take place from 3-5 p.m. at the office at 473 Highway 15 South, Jackson.
