ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE: Pipe Installation to Result in Closure of KY 794 in Estill County on Tuesday, Aug. 28

JACKSON, KY – (Aug. 27, 2007) – Personnel from the Kentucky Department of Highways, Estill County Maintenance, will install a drainage pipe on KY 794 (Dry Branch Road) at its intersection with KY 89 on Tuesday, Aug. 28. The project will begin between 8 and 9 a.m., after morning school bus traffic has passed, and will continue until approximately noon. During this time, the road will be closed to through traffic and motorists should plan their trips accordingly.

No marked detour will be posted, but drivers can use KY 89 and KY 1705 (White Oak Road) as an alternate route. In case of inclement weather, the project will be rescheduled until a later date.
