Tuesday, January 10, 2012 Citizen Foster Care Review Boards need volunteers to review cases of children placed in foster care because of abuse, dependency and neglect. Volunteer reviewers help ensure that children receive the necessary services while in foster care and are ultimately placed in permanent homes.

Monday, October 31, 2011 Thirty-five Laurel County students who have completed Teen Court training will be sworn in as officers of their county court. District Court Judge John Paul Chappell will perform the ceremony. The public is invited to attend.
- Whitley County to dedicate new judicial center Nov. 2
Friday, October 28, 2011 State and local officials, public invited to attend official opening of the Whitley County Judicial Center.

Wednesday, October 26, 2011 Thirty-nine Madison County students who have completed Teen Court training will be sworn in as officers of their county court. District Court Judge Brandy Oliver Brown will perform the ceremony. The public is invited to attend.

Tuesday, October 11, 2011 Judges from every region of Kentucky participated in a weeklong training program on core child abuse topics. This was the first time Kentucky hosted the national program, which has only been offered in three other states outside of its usual venue of Reno, Nev.
