Public invited to meet with local Supreme Court justice, Court of Appeals judges Sept. 30 in Crittenden, Webster counties

FRANKFORT, Ky. -- Justice Bill Cunningham of the Supreme Court of Kentucky and Court of Appeals Judges Judge Donna L. Dixon and Judge Christopher Shea Nickell will offer public forums in Crittenden and Webster counties on Friday, Sept. 30, to educate the public about the legal system. The appellate court judges represent Crittenden, Webster and 22 other counties on their respective courts.

The Webster County forum will take place from 8-10 a.m. CDT in the Webster County High School annex. The Crittenden County forum will take place at 3 p.m. CDT at the Crittenden County Courthouse. The justice and judges will also tour the courthouses in those counties and Union County.

Circuit Court Judge C. Rene’ Williams, Family Court Judge William E. Mitchell and District Court Judge Daniel M. Heady, who each serve Crittenden, Union and Webster counties, are scheduled to attend the forums.

The local bar associations will provide refreshments at the events.
