Kentucky Arts Council Presents Marketing Workshop for Artists and Craftspeople
The Kentucky Arts Council will present a workshop, The Changing Art and Craft Marketplace: What and Where is it?, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (EDT) on Friday, November 2, 2007 at the Fairfield Inn, 40 Chenault Road, (I-64, Exit 58) Frankfort, Ky.
The workshop is open to all Kentucky visual and craft artists and will address how the economic landscape is changing for artist products. Topics will include current trends in consumer buying and marketing, factors to consider in selling to national and international markets and exploring new directions for product development and marketing strategies.
Jennifer Mead Gervasi, founder and principal of Mead Group International will present the workshop. Mead Group International specializes in branding, marketing and sales strategies for businesses and Ms. Gervasi has a special interest in assisting new and emerging art and craft businesses.
