Arts Council offers artists webinar on writing about their work

FRANKFORT, Ky. – The Kentucky Arts Council will conduct a writing seminar via the Internet on Sept. 21 at 2 p.m. EDT for artists wanting to improve the way they write about themselves or their work.

The free webinar will last for one hour and is open to the first 50 people who register online at http://artscouncil.ky.gov/Opportunities/Webinar_WritingGoodCopy.htm.

This webinar was originally presented in August and is being offered again by popular demand. “I have struggled with these writings for 30 years, but I feel more confident now. I have never had anyone explain this to me as clearly as this,” said Paula Whitaker, who participated in the August webinar.

The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, creates opportunities for Kentuckians to value, participate in and benefit from the arts. Kentucky Arts Council funding is provided by the Kentucky General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts.
