Arts Council Presents Teacher Initiated Program Grant Writing Tips
FRANKFORT, Ky. – The Kentucky Arts Council will present workshops to introduce the Teacher Initiated Program to teachers, administrators and parents interested in bringing professional artists from a wide range of arts disciplines into the classroom to collaborate on innovative ways to integrate the arts across the curriculum.
The workshop guides the participants through the process of effective grant writing for the Teacher Initiated Program with a step-by-step approach to applying through the agency's electronic grant application system, Kentucky Arts Services OnLine (KASOL). Artists interested in applying for the Kentucky Arts Council’s Arts Education Roster of Artists are also invited to attend.
Workshops are scheduled for the following dates and locations:
Aug. 21 Madisonville Hopkins County Cooperative Extension Office
6:00 – 8:30 p.m. (CDT)
Aug. 26 Danville Danville High School
5:30 - 8:30 p.m. (EDT)
Aug 28 Stanton Powell County High School
6:00 - 8:30 p.m. (EDT)
The grant writing workshops are free, however, pre-registration is required.
