Arts Council Offers Information Session for Kentucky Craftspeople and Visual Artists
FRANKFORT, Ky. – The Kentucky Arts Council will host an information session to introduce the state's Kentucky Crafted® program to Kentucky craftspeople and visual artists who are interested in selling their work in wholesale and retail sales markets. The free workshop will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Thursday, January 15, 2009, at the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea located just off I-75 at exit 77 (Berea).
Kentucky Arts Council staff will be on hand to discuss the benefits of the program, the criteria for work being accepted, how to apply and an overview of the jury process. Artists may bring samples of their work for review and discussion.
