Kentucky Arts Council Public Meeting Notice

FRANKFORT, Ky. – The nominating committee of governing board of the Kentucky Arts Council will hold a meeting to make recommendations for four board positions which will be appointed by Governor Steve Beshear to serve for four-year appointments beginning February 2009. The meeting will be at 10:00 a.m. E.D.T., October 29, 2008, in Room C110 of the Transportation Office Building, 200 Mero Street, Frankfort, Ky.

All Kentucky Arts Council board meetings are open to the public.

The Kentucky Arts Council is a state agency in the Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet that creates opportunities for Kentuckians to value, participate in and benefit from the arts. Kentucky Arts Council funding is provided by the Kentucky General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts, which believes that a great nation deserves great art.
