Kentucky Arts Council features Murray artist in August
FRANKFORT, Ky. — Kentucky visual artist Eva King, of Murray, has been selected as the Kentucky Arts Council’s featured artist for August.
King, who studied art at Murray State University, uses cut paper to create visual compositions of family, community and rituals of daily life. Inspired by bright motifs and other paper artists, King uses different colors and patterns to depict rural life in compositions with a primitive or folk art feel.
