FRANKFORT, Ky. — The Kentucky Arts Council recognized five outstanding exhibiting artists at Kentucky Crafted: The Market, held March 1-4 at the Lexington Convention Center, Lexington, Ky. The awards encourage excellence in product development, booth display and accessibility. Exhibitors receiving an award will also have their booth fee discounted for Kentucky Crafted: The Market 2013.

Kentucky Crafted: The Market is an annual wholesale and retail arts marketplace featuring fine art, craft, books, music and artisan food products. This state-sponsored show is an economic generator for Kentucky, attracting, exhibitors, buyers and attendees from across the nation.
The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, creates opportunities for Kentuckians to value, participate in and benefit from the arts. Kentucky Arts Council funding is provided by the Kentucky General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts.
