New Exhibitors Bring a Variety of Fine Craft and Art to Kentucky Crafted: The Market

FRANKFORT, Ky. ─ Now in its 27^th year, the state-sponsored wholesale trade show and retail marketplace, Kentucky Crafted: The Market will feature many new exhibitors to complement the quality of merchandise that has been characteristic of the award- winning show. There will be 15 new exhibiting artists and craftspeople from the Kentucky Arts Council's Kentucky Crafted ® program, 2 new specialty food producers with the Kentucky Department of Agriculture's Kentucky Proud® program, and a number of artisans represented by out-of-state craft organizations as guest exhibitors.

New Kentucky Crafted® exhibitors are Deborah Chenault, Twelfth House Designs, Berea; Dwayne Cobb, Dancin' Dog Designs, Covington; Lucia Felty, LuciasSoapsEtc, Henderson; Artha Lynn Horine, Baskets from the Heart, Bedford; Irina Ilina, IRINA Design, Danville; Scot Kellersburger, Phoenix Creative Metal Art, Salvisa; Laura Lynch, Louisville; Igor Mintch, IMD Ceramics, Danville; Marlon Obando Solano, Naturaleza Organic Jewelry, Louisville; Michael Shambro, Shambrola Wood Art, Lexington; Morgan Stapp, K& M Crafts of Kentucky, Campbellsville; Michelle Weston, The Glass Studio, Berea; Gary Bertram, Gary Bertram Art, LLC, Georgetown; Michael Maydak, Comrade Comics, Covington and Mark and Claudette Rego, Captured in Color, Louisville.

Also, special guest to this year's market will be nationally renowned garden designer, Jon Carloftis. Kentucky Crafted: The Market will feature garden vignettes designed by Carloftis, who will also make a presentation, "Designing a Kentucky Crafted Garden," sharing his ideas about creating beautiful garden spaces and incorporating many of the wonderful products that can be found at Kentucky Crafted: The Market in home gardens. ________________________________________________________________
