Kentucky Arts Council meets in Frankfort

FRANKFORT, Ky. —The Kentucky Arts Council will have its quarterly board meeting June 24, 2011, from noon – 3 p.m. EDT at the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, 464 Chenault Road, Frankfort, Ky. All Kentucky Arts Council meetings are open to the public.

Kentucky Arts Council board members are: Todd P. Lowe, chair, Louisville; Everett D. McCorvey, vice chair, Lexington; Sonya Baker, Murray; Carla Bass Miller, Louisville; Wilma Brown, Danville; Zev Buffman, Owensboro; Paul Fourshee, Cadiz; John S. Hockensmith, Georgetown; Ronald Johnson, Ft. Mitchell; Henrietta Kemp, Hopkinsville; Nicholas Kouns, Lexington; Josephine Richardson, Whitesburg; Andrea Rudloff, Bowling Green; Randall C. Vaughn, Lexington; Roanne Victor, Louisville; and Jayne Moore Waldrop, Lexington.

The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, creates opportunities for Kentuckians to value, participate in and benefit from the arts. Kentucky Arts Council funding is provided by the Kentucky General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts.
