Kentucky Arts Council Presents Information Sessions across the Commonwealth
FRANKFORT, Ky. – In celebration of National Arts and Humanities month, the Kentucky Arts Council will be visiting ten communities to present a series of informational sessions known as "Kentucky Arts Council on the Road." These convenings will give citizens opportunities to network with those engaged in the arts at the local level and to learn about the work of the arts council, the state arts agency.
Kentucky Arts Council staff will introduce the programs, grants, awards and services of the agency and conduct technical assistance sessions focusing on relevant arts issues including: the arts in education, marketing opportunities for artists and performers, community development and audience building strategies.
The information sessions are free and open to the public. They are scheduled for the following dates and times at the following locations:
