Kentucky Arts Council meets in Mount Sterling

FRANKFORT, Ky. — The Kentucky Arts Council will have its quarterly board meeting Sept. 16, 2011, from noon – 3 p.m. EDT at the Gateway Regional Arts Center, 44 E. Main St., Mount Sterling, Ky. All Kentucky Arts Council meetings are open to the public.

Kentucky Arts Council board members are: Todd P. Lowe, chair, Louisville; Everett D. McCorvey, vice chair, Lexington; Sonya Baker, Murray; Carla Bass Miller, Louisville; Wilma Brown, Danville; Zev Buffman, Owensboro; Paul Fourshee, Cadiz; John S. Hockensmith, Georgetown; Ronald E. Johnson Jr., Fort Mitchell; Henrietta Kemp, Hopkinsville; Nicholas Kouns, Lexington; Josephine Richardson, Whitesburg; Andrea Rudloff, Bowling Green; Randall C. Vaughn, Lexington; Roanne Victor, Louisville; and Jayne Moore Waldrop, Lexington.

The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, creates opportunities for Kentuckians to value, participate in and benefit from the arts. Kentucky Arts Council funding is provided by the Kentucky General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts.
